Preparing To Transport

Chase is now being prepared to be loaded up and transported over to the Children's hospital. Still hoping surgery will be tomorrow.

Why a Blog?

As life came tumbling down around my sister's family last week I struggled knowing I needed to do something, anything to show my love and support and help any way I could. Since I am hundreds of miles away with two kids of my own packing up and showing up on their doorstep wasn't a logical solution. As the days continued and it became apparent information was slow and sparse I thought starting this blog to keep people informed was something I could do to ease a burden for them. After trying to manage a house, spend three hours in the car, spend time with Chase, meet with doctors etc, there just isn't enough time to fill everyone in on the latest details. In addition, it can serve as a type of scrap book since it can be made into a book later and it will certainly be hard to remember everything. Please add your name to the e-mail list and pass this link along to stay informed and allow Ben and Brandi to focus on where they need to be right now. Feel free to leave any thoughts, prayers, encouragement, well wishes, fun information about something one of their other kids did with you, etc in the comments and they will be passed along to them.
